It hangs there as it passes, staring, inspecting, looking for weaknesses. It rides the currents of the air with the same complete stillness of a predator before they lunge. You feel your own body tensing up in preparation, expecting the worst—
Only for the Altaria to pass by the edge of the broken canopy, and then further beyond that. The rain returns a moment later, your ears popping for a second time as pressure normalizes itself, and you let out a gasp of a breath, every hair on your body standing on end.

I absolutely love the image and the terror that this form of flying the Altaria are using invokes. And I can imagine how even more effective this form of movement would be in Altaria without Cloud Nine, so other clouds can exist in their vicinity. It offers a level of stealth and camouflage that almost no other Pokemon with flight can match. Absolutely am picturing a standard mountain range, with clouds interwoven throughout the peaks, and anything that enters the cloud bank never emerges, torn apart by what appears to be a ravenous and mobile pack of clouds.

Okay, so there yet another piece of fairly decisive evidence that there are human-made structures within the Sky Perch Cliffs. Something I'm wondering is whether this structure at the peak is possibly connected from within the mountain to the ones we found much further down. Because while something like this, creating facility of tunnels and bunkers within a mountain, would be an arduous, expensive, and take an extreme amount of time in our world, in the Pokemon world this would concievably take a fraction of all of these factors with well trained Ground/Rock Pokemon(s) to dig and reinforce the tunnels, especially if you have something large like Onix.

Very interesting. Building off of B.B. stated significant size is a very enticing draw, and adding on improvement of Boosting moves is also amazing. Making B.B. larger means he cannot be as easily shoved or lifted, but also makes him a large target and he'll take more damage if thrown or dropped.
Clarification, @OxfordOctopus, this increased potency only applies to moves where the primary effect is self-enhancement like Work Up, Bulk Up, Calm Mind, etc, and not moves where there is a secondary boosting effect, like Flame Charge or Charge Beam, correct?

Gives B.B. an increased advantage over Fire, Rock, and Ground types, and are moves that we can be fairly certain Urchin could shrug off if she is in the line of fire and/or potentially take advantage of for her own purposes. There is a wide range of Water moves that I could envision B.B. using, both in attacking and status, and by having Urchin to pick up other Water moves it reduces my choice paralysis.

While this would make B.B. way more effective against Dark, Dragon, and Fighting types, there aren't that many Fairy-type moves I'm all that interested in B.B. learning, so expanding his ability to learn Fairy moves doesn't appeal to me. The one I could see voting for if it came up would be Alluring Voice, which he should be able to learn as he is once we have some more higher-power Sound moves under his belt.
Alright made my choice based on what I'd want, but am not going to be put off if the current leader wins.
